After rabri, if there is any versatile dish in the market it has to be samosa. Trust me I have seen people make such weird but delicious combos using samosa that sometimes even my friend gets shocked. Yes, just like the previous one this article is also about my friend who I’d like to call Baapu. He’s been the person who has never left my side and helped me at every step even if it was out of his zone let go comfort zone. That being said let’s dive into 5 combination pairs with samosa.

1. Samosa Sandwich

Samosa Sandwich

All you have to do to eat this sandwich is to break it into small chunks, press the crushed samosa between the slices of bread, grill the sandwich and enjoy it with any chutney of your choice. This is absurd because I’ve seen people make Chinese Samosa Sandwich and it is a complete bomb dish.

2. Samosa Chat

This combination is still not that different because more than a few people might have already eaten it. Crush the samosa, top it with curd, chutney, finely chopped onions, my mouth is already watery and lastly garnish it with fresh coriander and crispy sev. In short, even one bite is an explosion of flavors.

3. Chhole Samosa

Chhole Samosa

The most common dish to pair with samosa. It is available at almost every railway station in Mumbai. One plate of Chhole samosa and you’re full for the next few hours. If you want to be a true Mumbaikar and fill yourself to the brim, just ask for the pav. Yes, we can pair anything with pav.

4. Samosa Bhel

Samosa Bhel

This is something that I had in Kolkata for the very first time all thanks to my foodie uncle who never kept my stomach empty. Bhel and samosa are already 2 complete dishes but when you pair them both together it feels like every bite has a different flavor.

5. Samosa Pizza

Pizza Samosa

Last on this list we have pizza samosa which is chunks of samosa on a flat pizza base topped with mayo, cheese, Italian seasonings, and other pizza toppings. I had this in Indore and it was not that great in taste but since it was something new and innovative I gave it a try.

So these were the top unique samosa that I have had to date. Some more unique samosa dishes would be Samosa soup at Burma Burma, Fort, and the Mutton Samosa at Light of Bharat, Dadar. Also if the samosa is sweet or has mawa in it, please don’t eat cause people selling this have been playing with people’s emotions and should be punished. Though the best that I had till now has to be Samosa at Gurukripa, Sion.

p.s. Soham (urf Baapu) if you have a different place for the best, let’s meet and find out which one is the best.
